I'm following this closely as a film student (producing) and as an avid gamer. SAG has been so greedy, it's ridiculous. I can understand a blockbuster film, in which the actor drives the revenue. But, I don't know a single person that buys a video game due to the voice-actors. Lame.

Good voice acting can add a lot to a game, but I've also never heard of anyone buying a game because of it.

Maybe a reason why BioWare is so keen on employing local talent in their games.

True. The majority of the voice actors are non-SAG. It just irks me how greedy that union has become. AFTRA signed the deal without hesitation, because they know that actors do not drive game sales. SAG is out of control and needs to be leashed...by me. HA! HA! HA! Okay, strike the last statement. :p
