Video to DVD

Does anyone know how to transfer Video to DVD.
I've read an article in a recent Mac magazine and it said to connect your VCR to your MiniDVcam and then in turn that to your Mac.
The problem is that it stated to connect the VCR to input Audio|Video on your Minicam,problem is that i don't have an Audio|Video input on my camcorder it only has Audio|Video outand i don't know a camcorder that has a Audio|Video in??????.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

some camcordes use the rca ports as in & outs, you have to switch them in the camera setup, (this is how my JVC works) but some camcorders will only have AV out. Depends on your camera. If you dont have AV in you will need a DV bridge. check this thread out.
