I want to play console games on my iMac screen, is this possible through the VGA socket on the back of the iMac, and if so, what cables or converters would I need?

Also, would the iMac (17" Intel) support HD?

Any help would be great...

Do a search. This has been asked lots of times. The answer, just in case, is NO. The jack is one way only: OUT.

You might have smoe success with a product like an EyeTV EZ, but this certainly does not support HD.

Sorry britishempire, people are usually much nicer here. Just make sure next time you use the search feature.

But, no, you can't play video games on your iMac screen without buying an EyeTV like robbieduncan suggested.

Scare 'em away, would ya robbieduncan?
