Is there any way to be able to view number of visits to my site if I dont put visible counters to my pages? I mean any way to see it in the code or something?

I just dont want to put the counter to my site because it will spoil the design, but I still want to be able to monitor the number of visits.

    Any ideas?

Recently, I've been using StatCounter to do what you've asked for. This has the advantage of giving you a wealth of information about your visitors - e.g. where they are from, where they have come from, how long they stayed for, how often they return, what browser/platform they use, etc.

But if you are ok at coding you can knock yourself one up in a couple of minutes using PHP.

SlimStat was derived from Shortstat. You can also sign up for Google Analytics, though it may take at least a few weeks before you actually get to use it.
