Hey all. I have Virtual PC 7 installed on my ibook with a copy of Win XP on it. (it runs surprisingly smooth with 1GB of ram) Anyway, I had no problem downloading the beta (got it in 40 minutes) and I am simply wandering if you all think it would work with Virtual PC. Thanks.

It emulates a P2, so there is no way it'll run.

    Spec's irrelevant in this case.

Well, as per this, it's got as far as installing for me. Slowly.

I'm sorry, but there's no way it could possibly work using VPC 7. It has a hard enough time running XP, and I don't care how much RAM you think you have, or how fast your proc is, or how great a video card you have. These things matter very little when using VPC. You're not going to get Vista running well in VPC.

It's one of those "don't even bother trying" situations.

You mean like using iPods for a software RAID system? :p

Didn't stop anyone from trying that out...
