Has anyone tried to install vista yet. Installing vista should be no different than installing XP, but I don't completely understand how this mod works, and why it wouldn't work on the 20" iMac. So.... any luck yet?

I believe it wouldn't work because it is a kernel patch. Obviously, Vista and XP do not use the same kernel, so it wouldn't work.

    I could be wrong ?

Vista won't work yet. As time goes on and the CSM improves you'll eventually be able to boot Vista I'm sure.

Lets not forget everybody. This solution is one day old. Give it time and it will give you what you want.

well, this XP patch came out quickly, so i wouldn't be surprised to see vista runinng on these machines no later than summer. Thanks for your replies.
