A tech head friend of mine has told me that eventaully Microsoft will have their OS run on Macs, and Apple will have their OS run on PCs. Is this ture?

Tell your tech friend to put down the reefer. :D

Because that will never, ever happen, well the Mac OS on PC part.

Well, to be technical, you can run OSX86 on your PC, which is hacked and buggy, and you could use Bootcamp to run Vista, but its unsupported and currently a pain to install.

    Never say never...

However, I do agree that's very unlikely in the near future.
And I don't know about Vista, but XP installs real easily, so I imagine once Vista is out (not beta), it wont be difficult to install on our Intel Macs.
