I need to do some .NET development. How can I run Visual Studio on my mac? I have a PowerMac G5 (PowerPC based). I know Parallels and VMware only run on Intel -- right? Do I have any other options?

Thanks,

Chris Miller

Virtual PC.. but it's going to be slow. There's no native way to run it on a PPC. Personally, I'd just buy a cheap $400 dell or hp or something just for development if I only had a PPC machine.

There's always mono... but i doubt it'll be too much use if you're doing windows apps.

Fry's had fully equipped (RAM, Hard Drive, DVD-ROM) basic PCs for $265 the other day. They had Linux, but I'm sure you have or can get your own copy of Windows.
