VNC/ Remote control question

    I use a powerbook runnning panther and have a windows 2000 box also on the same network, is it possible to control it via remote and well take control totally including seeing the screen if possible. And if yes how

    Then you need to get a VNC server for the PC, look on versiontracker. Then you install and config it and get a VNC client for the Mac, look on versiontracker.

    can any 2 vnc things work together or do they have to be from the same developer?

    My parents' XP system has WinVNC. I use Chicken of the VNC with it, no problem.

    VNC is Open Source, so any two will do just fine (or should).
