I had a bad experience with my Mom's cell phone company, and threatened to cancel after giving me grief and being really rude. They came around to keep me as a customer.

They won't listen to me but more are more than willing to listen to my pocketbook!!!

I don't get it -- most cell carriers get $175 or more if you cancel early. Was it the threat of you canceling or them just wanted to keep you happy?

Pay-as-you-go so no contract...
