Hi, i want to install windows xp on my MBP, but just for a while because my work need me to use windows. When i done with using the windows, how to uninstall it? Is it just as simply like drag and drop to the trash? Will the hard disk come back to one partition for mac only? my mbp is the 15" model with 80Gb, what's your suggestion for the partition, is 50Gb for MacOS and 30Gb for Windows enough? Thanks :)

Just run bootcamp installer again and it will give you the option to renew Mac OS X partition

All you have to do is open up the "Bootcamp Assistant", which installs itself under applications/unitilities, and then click restore partition. Thats it. It does all the work for you.

I'm running 25gig and am having no problems with webdesign for serveral sites and some word processing. You should do fine.

NO! because with an 80gb drive you only really get around 74. Therefore you need to deduct a little space between the two. Give more to the operating system you will use the most.

I installed windows in a small partition (about 10gb) on my imac's drive 250gb drive, BUT! I let it have half of my external drive (i make two partitions (2x150gb), one for mac, one for windows) and install application programmes in windows to that drive instead of it's C drive...

ok, thanks for the responds :) is installing windows with a boot camp beta is dangerous? I've read in many forums people asking for help with their boot camp, some can't install windows, some lost their mac os, some can't remove it, etc.. So i need to really think before installing it. i dont wanna mess my lovely MBP
