I installed media center 2005 later on when I switched on the mac mini I could not get to the different icons to boot from. I eventualy had to do a clean install of OSX

Was it me installing MCE on the windows partition or what ? I am tempted to install boot camp again but don't want a repeat of the above. Can't work out what I did wrong unless MCE does'nt like boot camp ? Vista is ok to install I guess ?

I don't think Media Center is compatible with boot camp.

Considering Apple is very specific about Boot Camp being only for Win XP SP2, I'd say MCE screwed it up.

That is correct. Media Center currently will not work correctly with the beta of BootCamp.
