steve jobs demostrated the many faces of the weather widget at MWSF 2005. how would i go about cycling through these like he did? is it not possible in the consumer version?

also, i noticed that clouds, rain and wind were animated in his widget. this doesnt happen on my powerbook, so i suspect that it is only availiable in high end graphics cards, or, it was scrapped for the final release. can anyone provide some clarity on this?

    thanks

Hold down Command and Option (alt) as you click on the name of the town you have set. It will change to 'Nowhere' and as you keep clicking, it will scroll through the different weather icons. The widget will revert back to your normal city when you next go back to Dashboard.

As far as I'm aware, only the fog icon is animated on any Mac.

Yeah, why did they change it? It looks like they should animate. :(
