I'm looking for a good web designer, someone with a passion for functional simplicity.

I'm a software engineer with a good few years of experience and am reasonably good at the backend stuff, but I'm no artist (though I know what I like when I see it).

I have loads of ideas for great websites, some profitable, and some not so profitable, but without good design they're not going anywhere.

If anyone is interested in partnering with me, just let me know. I don't care how much experience you have, how old you are, where you live, etc... only that you are honest and good at what you do, and that should include making great looking, standards based, web templates.

If you're interested just get in touch.

Would you clarify whether you are looking to hire someone on a hourly or contracted rate, or whether you are looking for someone to do the work on spec. for a share of possible profits?

    Definitely for profit sharing/partnering.

There are a lot of people out there who are very good a web design or very good at the backend technical stuff, but there are very few people who are good at both.

By partnering with someone I will get great looking websites that I couldn't have done on my own and they will get interactive/dynamic websites they they couldn't have done on their own.

So I guess that I'm looking for someone who is great at the artistic side of things (though they should also know about interfacing technologies such as css, xhtml, etc...), someone who can compliment my skills as a software engineer, someone who would like to make useful websites but perhaps doesn't know about what goes on behind the scenes.

Of course everyone wants to make money, me included, but I can't afford to pay anyone (at least not so much as any good designer would demand). And generally speaking people don't get rich by working a regular job, but by doing something like this there is always a chance that we could be successful.

I run WiFIkarts.co.uk (currently getting redesigned here). I'm pretty experienced in running sites, but this is the first one that's (hopefully) going to make me a profit. I'm also helping out at HM-Fusion.co.uk (although I didn't make the site or anything about it), we're about to start up a partnership...

Contact me if you want me...
