Webcam catches Burglar Ben in the act

    This a real useful new use for an iSight. Now a Mac can capture it's own theft. Benjamin never knew what hit him. :D

    I used this exact software last summer while we were on vacation and we had contractors in the house doing work. I had the iMac and iSight set up with SecuritySpy watching the office and uploading images to a remote FTP site. It's a pretty slick setup.

    BTW, I didn't catch them doing anything...

    I hope you didn't pay them then!:rolleyes:

    There was a show on UK TV a few years ago where they made a basic household appliance break which could be fixed easily/cheaply/quickly. And then brought in lots of tradesmen to find out what they said - all with a hidden camera. Very, very alarming - very few fixed it appropriately.

    I never really had a use for an iSight, but now I think it's time to invest in one.
