This is a strange one. Maybe someone can help me with it...

I'm a total keyboard user, especially when I'm on my laptop (which is now a Macbook Pro *the peasants rejoice*). But I'm having a very curious problem with it. When I'm in Safari and I use the Back keyboard combination (Command-[), the trackpad freezes up for a second. Not the computer or the application, mind you. Just the trackpad. Everything still works just fine. If I attach an external USB mouse, this doesn't happen (I can move the mouse immediately).

This isn't a huge deal or anything, but it is a bit irritating. And it's the only complaint I have about my new computer. So... can anyone shed any light on why this might be happening?

I don't have an answer for you, but just out of curiosity...does it also do it if you use Command-Left Arrow?

Nope. Command-Left Arrow seems to work fine.

For the benefit of anyone who stumbles across this post later, I found the answer to this problem on Apple's forums: turn off the "Ignore Accidental Trackpad Input" in the Keyboard & Mouse control panel.

Thats still weird. I love the "Ignore Accidental Input" feature.
Luckily I never use that shortcut. *the peasants rejoices*
