I just had a strange networking problem, I go home and plugged in my iBook, only to find it doesn't have an internet connection. So I head over the the PC (yeah I know...) and try the net, works fine. So I think that maybe I didn't plug the ethernet cable in properly, so i tried that, still not going. I went and had a look at my hub, and the light for my iBook wasn't on. So I checked the cables again, still no go. I ended up rebooting, and that fixed it. Anyway, my question is, doesn't the hub light not being on indicate a physical problem? I thought if it was a software problem then the light would still be on? Anyone else had a problem like this?
