Description:: The film, shown Sunday afternoon at the Chazen Museum, at times is like an infomercial for the storied Silicon Valley corporation. The tone throughout is breathless, as in an intertitle that grandly announces how, for Apple in the early 1980s, "the time had come once again to change the world."

It was very fun. When the Mac Rumors homepage got a cameo shot, I heard someone "woo," so I know there was at least one other member in there. Also, the audience hissed when they showed Gil Amelio. It was hilarious.

I saw the woman who was first in line for the iPhone, there; she was with the Bayshore Apple Store Manager. Durring the Q&A at the end of the show, the manager asked the film makers about distribution. They confirmed that it would be coming to DVD, loaded with lots of detailed extras, (this should please the guy who was ranting about switching FROM Mac to Linux because it's not technical enough for him), and it may be coming to television.

The film makers were taking group shots of everyone holding up their Apple devices at the end. It should be on their site soon. Unfortunately, there are no other showing dates listed; just this one public world premiere, for now.

I highly recommend this film. If you ever get a chance to check it out, don't miss it. They completely capture the spirit of the Apple user. The interviews are a treat, especially the ex-QuckTime Engineer, Jim Reekes, while he's talking about the retarded engineers and the start-up sound, (his words, engineers). Guy Kawasaki gives an entertaining interview, as well. Wait till you see the collector. Your jaw will literally drop. I don't think I've ever seen that many Macs pictured at once.

If anyone else was there, I'd love to know what you thought about it. I loved it and I will definitely be buying the DVD when it's available.

    More to come!

    Hello all!

We are very thankful for the turnout in Wisconsin! It was a lot of fun to see the audience get into it. I even think there was "hissing" when a photo of Gil Amelio appeared in the section talking about "the tough times".

Never the less, we have been accepted into two new film festivals, each with two screening dates.

Please check our website for dates and times, as I do not want to contribute anything that could be misconstrued as "spam" to the MacRumors forums.

Thanks and hope to see you there! - WTM
