Wow... Mmmm... I do not know.

    Rent 80's movies.

There is one where a bunch of guys wanted to save an old theatre called "Miracle", so they start a big fest. I guess the movie is called "Breakdance".

You can rent too "Rhythm Nation" by Janet Jackson.

Forget about spining on the floor, that is too corny.

For shure you have to listen to 80's electronic music.

Yo may get sic in secunds, I'm an 80's person but I took the Depeche Mode road, not the Cindy Louper or Madonna.

I do not know man... this is way too far from mac related topics.

Listen to Michael Jackson for 48 straight hours. No breaks. Repeat albums if you have to... listen in chronological order for best results.

However, resist any crotch-grabbing urges. Failing to do so will result in you having to start the two day period all over again.

By the completion of the 48 hours you'll have developed an impeccable swing in your hips, greasy curls in your hair and soft spot for Richard Simmons workout videos.

    Now hit it, boy!

    Thanx

Only thing is, I cant watch movies that are "R", bitchy parental units. Thanx a bunch. If any of you CAN actually breakdance, tell me. I can do the worm, and the occasional pause (supporting yourself on you arms, elbows jammed into your abs.)

Whatever you do you have to have the parachute pants. Very important! Oh, and getting your hair permed helps. Sounds like everybody covered the, uh, training videos already.

Actually you're on the freak'n internet. There's gotta be some 80's freak out there with a website dedicated to that. :)

Break a few limbs and try to dance. How about you get with the times, and take your head out of the 80's??? Breakdancing is dead, just as disco is, and with good reason too.

I'm 23 years old. I'm just wandering if I'm already so damned old that breakdancing is coming back and I didn't know, or is this someone a little older than me who wants to get his youth back or just someone who wants to learn about the "classics"? Just curious.

    Doh!

I feel a little dumb now. If you were older than me I don't suppose the parental units would be controlling your movie watching. But, I don't know, mine still try.

i'd think you'd have to just try it. over and over and over and over.

watch things for some ideas. but you gotta just do it a ton.

so as far as "quick" i don't see it happening.

    good luck though.

haha. i just noticed the 800 sat math.... make some measurements and figure out the geometry of some different moves.... that oughtta help!

    Quick!

Is there some sort of breakdance crisis that you are soon to face? Why the need for instant results?

By the way, I actually took breakdancing lessons at the local YMCA when I was younger! It must have been the mid eighties. Is that scarry or what?

    all kidding aside...

I think there are a couple books which illustrate how to breakdance...

I wouldn't try going to Barnes & Noble for them though...someone I know seriously asked there and got laughed at pretty harshly for it...

I'd try amazon.com or even eBay...u never know what u will find ;)

Break dancing is seriously in vogue in London at the mo.... particularly with the old skool skaters and bmx crowd...... or should that be crew?? :p

Buy any compilation album with 'Hip Hop Don't Stop' in the title for that authentic soundtrack....... cover yourself in baby oil...... and spin.....

    Go boy........ :p
