With the holiday fast approaching, and a thread hasn't started yet, what are you thankful for this year?

To start... I'm thankful for my amazingly hilarious friends.

    Continuing to breath.

    Everything else is gravy...

Every morning when I wake up and see the leaves instead of the roots.

Being buried alive would suck pretty hard.

Good health and that of my family. A job and the roof over my head. I have everything I need.

Family (wife and son), job, home and increased health after some trouble two years ago.

Eating less turkey, more tofu ...

I'm thankful my family and I are healthy, and that we survived Hurricane Sandy with no damage to our houses. I'm also thankful for my job which I've had since 1982. Life is good :)

The list always starts with family and health. And family health.

Turkey and pie go on the list too!

After watching the Ken Burns Dust Bowl documentary I appreciate being able to breath even more!

I'm thankful that I'm not at the Los Angeles International Airport. The TV news just reported that traffic is down to 15 mph in all directions north, south, and east from the airport. Apparently, everyone in the country decided to come to L.A. for Thanksgiving tomorrow.

I'm particularly thankful for being in grad school and a holiday season free from the pressures of last year.

As an aside, I've never heard of the 1621 microprocessor.

Not many have; it's quite an old one. And so slow: for simple tasks you could have a dinner with your family while it was running hot like an oven. But now that one is history.

Excellent health, terrific fitness, wonderful family & friends.

The rest is just stuff, and it's all replaceable.

I was not thinking alive, more like 6 feet deep. Although a valid point. LOL!

    There's a G5 heatsink, but perhaps there's another explanation.
