I just think it looks like a trash can, Nothing beautiful about the design.

Have you not noticed the plethora of threads about the new Mac Pro in the Mac Pro sub forum discussing exactly this?

If it's a "trash can", maybe we can use it to clean up this pointless thread, and the other bajillion like it...

    And Yourself?
I think it's actually a pretty neat design. I'm sure it will grow on people when they have the chance to see it in person.

Reminds me of a jet engine. I like the internal design, not wildly fond of the cylinder look though. Id like to see how well it actually holds up to intensive tasks with best management before I pass judgement.

    Down the rabbit hole
It's a new direction to be sure but we're in early innings. Because the new MP hasn't been field tested, all people have managed so far is to attempt to compare an unknown quantity to the outgoing model that has been around for years. Most of those conversations have revolved around form factor. What's truly going to be interesting is the information that is revealed in a few months from Anandtech and other reputable testers.
