What blog engine is Fannation using?
I really like the simplicity of the member comments with avatar

If it's not WordPress-powered, can the look and feel be achieved easily?

Seems to be using http://rubyonrails.org/ though thats not a blogging program, its a framework that is used. In honesty, I think its using ruby on rails for the framework, and something privately coded. That site seems to be run by Time Warner. I doubt they are using anything you can get ahold of. Its probably using something home grown.

They're just using background images for the balloon part (multi-images)
