I am interested in gathering what faults may or may not be present in certain build weeks, so let me start :

    Model, Build Week, Fault(Y/N), What.
    -------------------------------------------------------------
    MB, 31, Y, Faulty inverter.

    MB, 39, f*cking processor whine...
    Otherwise, fan-freaking-tastic.

If you remove your battery and look underneath your MB there are some numbers like AB631...

the 6 means the year and the digits to the right are the week.

I've got a week 41 and absolutely no problems with it. I've only had it for a week now but so far I'm very pleased which makes me a happy Windows to Mac converter. :)

    Week 24.
Whine, crappy display, and performance problems

note; search online for that site that has all temperatures, maybe more handy to get all data there.

I gave my younger sister a week 23 MB, so far no problems. It has really bad discoloration, but she refuses to send it in for repairs. Beyond that the computer works flawlessly.
