    Hello.

I’ve recently ordered a Sony HTCT100 Sound Bar with Sub-Woofer off Amazon and it will be delivered to my house within a week or two. It comes with an optical audio cable. Is that all I need to connect it to my unibody MacBook (late 2008 model)? If not, which cable do I need to purchase to get the job done?

    Please let me know. Thanks.

Need an optical digital cable with mini jack adapter. I use that to attach my zeppelin to the Apple TV.

One more silly question: There are two round ports on the left edge of my MacBook—one of them the 3.5mm jack for connecting headphones; what’s the other one for?
