I have 50 cents left on my gift card. There isn't anything to buy is there? I've heard switching countries as a currency trick but that seems illegal to me.

Nothing, just add it to your account.

Speaking of low numbers I once had a 1.03$ in my account and made a .99$ purchase from the app store, apple billed my credit card the .02$ over what I had (sales tax), very funny to read my bill like that.

HA! You're all wrong. (jk) You can upgrade one song to iTunes plus for $0.30. ;)

Go to the main iTunes store page, and at the right click Upgrade to iTunes Plus.

Alright, you got us ... but that leaves ~$.20 for the OP now.

    Where are you?

In the US, if Apple has a store in your state, they can charge you that state's sales tax for online purchases.

Hmm....I don't think he can get anything after that. He'll just have $0.20 extra to spend next time he gets more iTunes credit.

Alright, just finished spending 30 cents on upgrading one song. Now I have 20 cents left. Maybe I can donate it to the Steve Jobs Foundation?

Damn! I thought I donated it to the band who made the song. Steve is always one step ahead! Blast!
