What can I use it for? I've seen a little bit of demos and such but I don't really know what you can actually use it for. Do I have to have a MIDI keyboard?

    Thanks,

    Things you can do:

-make your own song only using stock loops
-make your own song with stock loops and a live instrument (voice, guitar, keyboard) using a midi adapter for a keyboard, a usb guitar/mic input, or line in on your computer (if you have it)
    -just record yourself live

Where are the stock loops at? I haven't found them yet.

Click on the 'eye' icon near the bottom of the GarageBand interface.

Check out the tutorials here to get you started.

    I hope this helps.
