I'm an IT intern at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago; web design is what I do currently, but I plan on going into medicine, hopefully neuro- or trauma surgery, possibly emergency medicine.

Although I do help the school repair computers which gets me a free lunch every week. Think that counts as a job? :D

I'm an automative Research Analyst for ADP claims services group. We make collision repair software that coordinates the body shops, insurers and parts recyclers. My job is to do the research on the vehicles, find out whats changed, take photos of them, and set up our database for development. Its a pretty decent job and they send me to 4 autoshows a year, so that's cool. Its also cool because ADP is huge (they do payroll and brokerage as their main business), but we're a small, pretty autonomous division.

And for this job, I have an Engish degree with a minor in education. Go figure.

And hey, if you live in the Bay area and are looking for a job, we're hiring right now.

    two jobs...gardening and landscaping...boring

    and

computer repair...also boring but related to this thread
started out as dot.com employee (san jose, ca based company at the height of speculation/hope), then computer sales at office depot, then working for a microsoft certification school after i got training there and at the local college, then doing various projects for corporate clients on desktop side, then doing warranty work (dell, compaq, apple), and finally getting enough knowledge to have my own clients but would like to have separate office/store where i can do my occupation and separate it from my house, phone number, social life, etc...i have a lot of college units and grad school units so i would like to also get my master's in compuer related topic and learn more since there is always more in this field ;)

Me too. I am starting to major in Graphic Design in september. Throughout the last few years of high school I have done quite a bit of freelance work. As well I work with another qualified graphic designer doing some of the web portions of projects. Thus far it has been a great experience and I have been able to make money while having fun and learning.
