What flavor of Linux for my Mac?

Hi everybody, I'm new to Linux but I want to learn more by installing some flavor on a seperate partition. Any suggestions?

Don't think so, not right now anyway. I do think the demand is out there, so maybe in the not so distant future. Stay tuned.

I used Yellow Dog Linux on my iBook (Dual USB) and it worked like a charm. Only reason I got rid of it was because I didn't use it enough to justify the space being occupied by another OS. Give it a whirl and see what you think.

There is also LinuxPPC. But unfortunatly, there seems to be no more development since it's last release, partially due to the release of OS X.

With Solaris just having pulled/reinstatedsupport for Intel (those folks with 90% marketshare), I don't think there is a snowball's chance of seeing Solaris for Moto.

I would advise looking as SUSE Linux, its what I use when I play about with Linux.
