..another game thread: let's find out what runs under the new CPUs (and Intel GFX)

    Computer: MacBook C2D (2GB) , Intel GFX

    OS: WindowsXP

Game: NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED (demo) works fine...

Tips: absolut minimal resolution and every effect was swithed of ..also some
games-cheat-tweak-control-panel (adjustung profiles and grafics) was used

Result: Not so nice grafics at the beginning (low resolution) but at 200 m/h
you won't see any great details anyway  ..it runs smooth

    ..
SO NOW IT'S YOUR TURN !!!

Didn't play any game since I deleted Boot Camp and Win XP from my MBP. I played Need For Speed Carbon and the graphics were great, but the game kept crashing twice to four times a day.

If this is just another gaming on a MacBook thread it has been done to death. Search the forum there is a thread with a huge list of games that work.

Nothing really, Marathon in short bursts while waiting for something to download or something if that counts...

Though I just got the urge to play Heroes III... too bad it probably won't run on Vista...

Wii Sports of course! (while drinking a bottle of wine...MAN this is fun to play while you're drunk!!!)

Just stuck a ATI x1950 in my Dell, but have no interest playing Oblivion or COD2 right now...much rather be playing my Wii.

I haven't gotten a new game for awhile, but I've returned to Call of Duty 2, to possibly regain my former skill in that game, at least to hold me off for awhile.

I just started playing Castlevania Portrait of Ruin for DS tonight. The last 2 games I played and/or finished this week were Sega Classics on PS2 and Elite Beat Agents DS.

Next up is Metal Gear Solid 3 or Guitar Hero 2.

Zelda on the Wii. Easly one of the best games I've ever played and I'm in my thirties.

Next I'll play Castlevania Portrait of Rune on the DS.

Last game I played on any of my comps, was Warcraft 3. Mainly the Dota mod and a few tower defenses. Until the Wii and DS came along, I was pretty much burned out with gaiming in general. I haven't even bothered upgrading my PC for 3 years now, since the games just got blah. Thought I would like Half Life 2, but I couldn't get into it.

YES. :D I've been playing it since Wednesday.

I'm also playing Red Steel, Excite Truck, and Wii Sports on my Wii.

I recently finished both the ARM and CORE campaigns for original Total Annihilation in Windows/Boot Camp. If I run out of other things, I also have several expansions to play.

Not playing anything on OS X, though if I didn't have all those other games, I might get into some classic Marathon fun with the Aleph One project.

I picked up a Wii today as a bit of an impulse buy. It's an interesting machine Wii Sports is fun with a bunch of other people playing. Now if only I could find component video cables. Oh why didn't I buy them when I saw them at a shop y'day. I went back today and they were all gone. :(

Gotta love impulse buys. Unfortunately I have made too many lately and now I can't buy a Wii. Maybe next year. For now I am VERY happy with the 360 :D

Yeah it wont gone down to well here but I like the 360 more. Shh don't tell anyone.

The Wii seems a bit broken to me. It is telling me I need to install an update to get the weather and news channels working but the machine is completely up to date. Oh well...

I haven't really been playing games that much either...They're just aren't that many out there that seem worth playing. I may get Gears of War, but until then (if ever), I'll stick with Rome: Total War and Call of Duty 2. At least for awhile.

Just completed Donkey Kong Country 3 for Super Nintendo. 103%

Dug deep into some boxes and found Donkey Kong Country 2, so I'll be playing that for a while now.

I also recently beat Super Mario World for like the 100th time, and am working on Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the 99th time. :D

    off-topic:

What is with all the war games anymore? It's all I see. Is that what's cool right now, or is it just a coincidence?

World of Crackcraft, and not enough time for that really...

I sometimes get totally fried on a marathon Tetris session...

MacBook Pro 17" WoW runs very well.
