I apologize is this is a duplicate but I couldn't find it in search. The rumors last year indicated the iPhone 11 was mechanically capable of reverse wireless charging but it was turned off in software. I didn't see any mention of this feature yesterday for the iPhone 12s, did they scrap this feature entirely or did I miss the mention of inclusion?

There was nothing mentioned by Apple this year. Given the battery situation, that could be a factor. Based on patent submissions, it seems Apple is definitely interested in this feature however.
It's really not worth waiting for. I've had Samsung devices, and it's slow charging and just not as practical as it sounds on the surface.
Default apps revert after app updates! Is this acknowledged?
I know the reboot issue was fixed, but this is arguably even worse. Are there any plans to fix this? Is it something that even can be fixed, and would it be Apple or the devs that had the power to do so? Basically defeats the purpose of having defaults if you have to remember to set them after...

The small battery of 12 series is difficult to power the phone itself, how can it support reverse charging?
Funnily enough reverse wireless charging was built into the iPhone 11 but Apple abandoned it and blocked it via software. Doesn’t seem like they want to resurrect the idea.
This was one feature that's been rumored forever including last year. I was really looking forward to. Has anyone else heard anything about this feature?
Yeah that's really want I wanted it for, although I'm not sure that would even be possible. But to be able to do it with AirPods on the go would also be pretty awesome.
Is that even efficient? Do we have any numbers as far as how long it takes to charge the device using reverse?
