what if MackBook Pro = new iBook...

    what if is what if? I would drop Apple in a heartbeat with iBooks starting at $1999. So stop deluding yourself in this fantasy of the iBook having the features of a Powerbook.

    absurd for so many reasons, primarily because that would make the cheapest apple laptop $2000. There's really no need to get in to all of the other reasons because this is just too ridiculous...

    Yah price point alone makes this not even a possibility. Its a cute idea but frankly no one at Apple has a death wish to that extent because I'd kill someone at Apple if they pulled that crap. [​IMG][​IMG] ;)

    It doesn't really make any sense to me, either but I was checking out a new Toshiba 12 inch Core Solo-based laptop computer and it was around $2000 to start.
