Why are people so attached so MS Paint? Nearly every switched asks "Where can I get Paint for Mac OS?" it's such a useless app but yet everyone is so attached to it... hmm...

I'm guessing because there is no simple photo editor that comes with Mac OS X. They are used to opening paint and doing their usual stuff, but when the go mac they can't find how to do this. Thus causing them to post on MacRumors looking for a program like Paint for Mac. Just a guess. :)

Paint is an easy to use, simple program. I wouldn't call it a photo editor. I use it for making simple drawings/diagrams for papers and presentations. Like the other day, I was making a diagram that had 3 or 4 shapes and two words of text. Took me 5 minutes to do in Paint, looked very simple but that was what I wanted. I know I could have done it in something else but that would require me to learn arguably more difficult software.
