What model is the slot load superdrive in the G5 imac?

    What model is the slot load superdrive in the G5 imac?

    I should have been more specific.. The model number and brand of drive. I am guessing it is a Matshita (aka Panasonic).

    The great irony is now the eMac has a faster drive than the iMac. A tray loader up there would have been too big and been clunky to use. I think Apple did the right thing for a clean design, but drive speed was the trade-off.
