I'm predicting the Bush administration will tell us that we are winning the struggle in Iraq, but that the insurgency is going to get worse over the next few month, but not to worry, what looks like strength is really weakness; the last throes of the insurgency as they try as disrupt the vote set for mid-October. And further, that once we make it to that vote we will have turned the corner on the insurgency and things will be Getting Better from there out.

I wonder if the GOP congresspersons will be dipping their thumbs in ink this time...

You know, I still can't tell if he's outright lying... or if he really is that separated from reality.

I think it's the later, and that's the more frightening of the two.

With all the Katrina coverage, I might have misunderstood, but the Sunni leadership apparently called the constitution a "Jewish constitution".

    How is that Bush's fault?

    -More for the pot:

Bush then said: "Even our own Constitution wasn't adopted unanimously."

Anybody remember who the holdouts were? And the price that was paid for it?

    The U.S. Civil War.

It's a "Believe the Lie" strategy, as predicted by the X-Files. So yes, it's a lie, yes, he knows it's a lie, and yes, he believes it. Spooky!
