My macbook air is rev b 1.6ghz one, currently I found a serious problem: while watching rmvb movies, the cpu occupies significantly higher than other formats like avi, mkv, mov, etc. So is the condition of memory.

Now I am using mplayer OS extend to watch rmvb movies. And I have not yet found a better software than this one, however, I am not qiute satisfied with mplayer, because it can not handle a relatively HD rmvb movie( stuck all the time, not smooth enough, and cpu temperature is extremely high).

So dear friends , what software do you recommend? Thank you so much

I have been using the latest build of VLC and haven't had any problem. I also use Realplayer and it seems to work fine.
