I downloaded ICQ and went to open it up but when I click on it Test Drive of Microsoft Office opens. What program is it meant to use?

when i downloaded a particular set of icons from interfacelift with the stuffit expander when I opened the file it looked like gibberish. This happens with about 10 percent of the icon sets on that site

use The Unarchiver it "is a much more capable replacement for BOMArchiveHelper.app."

It will definitely work for .sit files, I am not sure about .sitx.

.sitx is just a slightly more compressed version of a .sit file. Stuffit should work for .sit and .sitx
