IS there a .cue file that goes with the .bin file? IF so, there's an app called FileStorm or FireStorm or something like it that will open/coombine these files.

Otherwise, stuffit expander SHOULD work fine. And it SHOULD be free...?

Just go to the Allume website and download Stuffit Expander. It does not nag you. It is true freeware.

Y'know, the OS itself, providing you're at least on 10.3, can unzip .zip archives (in fact, it can create them, too).

As for .bin, assuming it's not a CD image like Onizuka suggested (highly unlikely), Stuffit Expander handles those as others said, and the free version is indeed 100% free and nag-less.
