What video editing software works on the new iMacs?

    I thought that no Pro applications work on the new iMacs. I just called apple and they said that Final Cut Studio will work. But isn't Final Cut Pro 5 in the Studio package?

    Can anyone help me please?

    The pro apps will not work until march when they release universal versions of them.

    right now...the only option you have is iMovie HD

    What about Final Cut Express HD? Will that work?

    Well, it's just that everyone i talk to is confused about what will play and what won't, even Apple employees.

    what about the cross trade for $49 dollars.... is that not available until March either?

    yeah--march...because they haven't finished it yet. if they had the crosstrade...they have the full version.
