Zelda, Metroid, Wii Sports (I want to get my parents to play this game), Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, and *possibly* Excite Truck and *maybe* Madden NFL 07.

I hate sports games- last one I enjoyed was Tecmo Bowl- but Madden on Wii was actually fun for me.

Need at least two controllers, possibly three or four...

Thank goodness I saved the money I got for my college graduation this year :)

Nintendo stated at E3 that it would be highly improbable.

zelda, metroid, red steel, wii sports.

mario is not a launch title; it will supposedly be released within the first six months, at which point I will most certainly buy it too.

Just going off what I have read and heard, Wii has little online game support. So until they do support online gaming, I will not be buying a Wii. Which is sad because I really want one but online gaming is huge for me and I think most people. Nintendo is only hurting themselves.

Another major mistake by Nintendo. Having your franchise game not be a launch title? The reason I want a Wii is to play Mario. At least they have Zelda and Metroid.

    We'll see.

Smash Bros is online, but it's not a launch title.

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles was announced to be online, but that was months ago and nothing has been said yet so I'm starting to wonder.

Madden games have always been online, but no one has said anything.

We really don't know yet. But the Wii WILL support online play. We just don't know if it will at launch or not. Smash Bros was supposed to be the first online game but it was also supposed to be a launch title.

    Wii Sports - looks fun

Elebits - because my first love is Pikmin :)

Zelda - it's apparently illegal to buy a wii without a copy

Red Steel - if they sort out the control problems

Rayman - got to get me some platforming if Marios on hold

Metroid Prime Corruption - looks awesome

That's my wii list. Now I'm not getting a ps3, plenty extra to spend on wii and 360 games :)

Stuff because it's obvious (Metroid, Zelda, Wii Sports, Red Steel etc). but Metal Slug because ITS METAL SLUG. and I love Metal Slug. Only played a little but a big anthology makes me not want to buy the single boxed Xbox versions. ho hum! yes. let the pixels flow.
    IMO the best graphics ever.

Metal Slug in the past a sidescroller was it not? Is it still on the Wii? (I don't really know much about it or the series in general so whatever you tell me is good  )

I'm hoping it's Metal Slug 3-5 at least. Them games were excellent. it's all platform 2D, and regarded as the best pixel art game ever by many many people. It's an arcade port. see Metal Slug 1 and 2 were negligible, very average games. just with the kind of game it is I don't think we should expect any gyro functions

Zelda, Metroid, Red Steel. Wii sports will probably come later.

I'll start with two controllers and go up as quickly as I can. :-D

Also, Smash Bros and Mario asap.
