Which model of what? Need a bit more info.... :)

Click the :apple: in the upper=left corner, then "About this Mac"

Under "Mac OS X", what version?

    Now click on "More Info".

In that screen, what is the Model Name and Model Identifier?

If I remember right up to the quick silver they used the original airport card. From there up it was the airport extreme. I have a friend that just went out and purchased a $20 USB wifi adapter and has no problems with it

You have not provided the exact model identifier for your G4 Mac.

Mine is a FW800 PowerMac, and it is equipped with airport extreme.

That's the version of the operating system. Really need the model number and model name, which is on the next screen.

Bottom line, you will probably be able to use, as another poster stated, a simple UBP-wireless adapter. We've just got to be sure it'll be compatible.

So, about that model name/number.. ?
