My 20th birthday's not until July, but here's what I'm asking for:

$5,000 to spend while I'm studying in Europe in the fall. (which I will get).

I'm buying a new car as soon as I get back from Europe, so I'll probably ask for some money to help me with that as well.

Birthday's and Christmas have always been good to my wallet.

my first choice is a car, but knowing my parents, they WONT pay for it, so either i'll be living here till i'm 30 (which they're really against ;)) or they have to find a way to get me moved cuz either they get me a car or they're gonna have to move all my stuff lol

Well, my birthday came and went earlier this month already. My wife asked me what I wanted, my reply was, "Anything but clothes for work!". So I received a new t-shirt (always needed) a new belt, and a NEW GOLF BAG:D

Oh, I also got some money from my parents and my in-laws, so that was pretty cool.
so I'm happy with my gifts:D

    - whenever sprint stops digging for oil with their thumbs and releases the Sony Erricson T608, I'd like that.

    -oh, I'm buying a powerbook too :D

    Come on JUNE!!!

    [Warning: possible flaimbait :)]

Wow what a materialistic money grabbing lot we are! When I was 18 there was no chance of getting a car or anything like that! Of course I am now 24 with a flat (well a huge mortgage, but sort of), a car, loads of computers and so on. So what I'd really like is to find true, honest to goodness love. Cheesy, but it don't cost a thing.

My mom TOLD me she would give me $300 to spend on a monitor
for my birthday (on April 17th), but now she is taking that back,
saying that she 'found something'. That's not good. I need $$$
to buy a monitor. I will barely be able to afford the computer. :(

    Materialistic? Sheesh... guilty as charged.

What I want for my birthday I will never get: the newest, most powerful Mac out there. Secondly, I'd like a telescope. Third, I'd like a copy of either Maya or Lightwave. Fourth, a new DV camcorder. *sigh*

Geez... how self-centered can I get.

How about a new studio rig and lot's top-notch new tech? And, since I'm dreaming, the answers to all of life's questions.

What I want for my birthday.

For a dream come true present I would love to see my dad, grandpa, my aunt, uncle, and grandma all get saved and stop living the selfish, self absorbed, unkind, ungenerous, anti-charity, money grabbing and money holding with fists, unsupportive, anti-family, anti-feeling life styles. My grandpa didn't want to pay for my aunt's schooling and etc so he leaves my grandma and etc and they have been apart ever since. My dad didn't want to be responsible for a wife and three kids so he kicked them out of the house and left them with nothing. He still doesn't want to take any responsibility for anything.......he blames us kids and mom for all his problems. I am so tired of their attitudes about taking care of the family. My sister is legally blind and needs hard contacts for her condition.....but because my dad and grandpa don't want to spend the money.......they ask her to buy drug store reading glasses! They refuse listen to reasoning or to the doctors. I am tired of my father going out to restaurants and getting meals and eating regularly, but he leaves me at the house with no food and no money and gets upset when I come to his shop asking for money to eat......what does he expect me to eat.....air? I guess I have to continue in faith and keep praying that the Lord touches my family in miraclous ways.....it needs it desperately!

I would love to get a powerbook or ibook as a present and the rest of the Accordance Bible software modules.

I am just glad that this summer I am getting married before my birthday.....I just consider it a priviledge to get married.

I know that the Lord Jesus Christ will answer your prayer. It will be done in his time and his way. He can always turn a bad situation into good to glorify himself. Just continue to pray for his guidance.

Your marriage should be a great blessing! ;)

I hope not! She will get the worst one out there!
I can find the best deals, I just hope she gives
me $300 and lets me do what I please with it.

Money is the best gift one can give. ;)

Sarah Michelle Gellar? I'm not fond of her, I'd much prefer Kristin Kreuk or Jessica Alba. But whatever floats your boat (and if you thought there was a connotation in that, get your mind out of the gutter).

    wish list:
    iPaq 5450
Falcon Northwest Mach V (I'm a PC guy, so shoot me)
    a Mini
    there's this ravishing girl...
    my weight in Franklins
    telekinesis/psychokinesis
Yale patent law degree [HA! ... at least not for now]
acceptance into an Ivy League school (pref Harvard/Yale)
a lightsaber (think of the money i could make!)

so basically... expensive stuff (money and otherwise)

after reading bcsimac's post... wow. I mean no disrespect with what I'm about to say, but it really puts stuff into perspective. (and I thought I had family problems)
