I'd like to know what everyone has plugged in (USB/Firewire/other) to your mac right now. Maybe you have something that I might want to compulsively buy.

    I have...

    12X CD Burner
    5 GB iPod
    Floppy Drive
Black Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse combo
    iMic
    Sonnet JBL 3 piece speakers
    HP Printer

    Your turn!!

I'd have my stereo connected but it's downstairs in the living room.

I have a TiBook, so usually just a mouse. But I do only use my Mac for pulling the photos off of my camera. The PC just stinks for that.

Re: What's connected to your Mac?

when i first got my blueberry ibook, i just had an epson 740 printer and kept all my stuff on the hard drive...that was 1999 and i considered getting an external floppy drive

after i retired the epson printer and now have a lexmark printer, i added an epson scanner, iomega zip 100, and a cheap digital camera

i am very simple with my needs and the only thing i would really want is a better digital camera

but when i decide to replace this mac with an lcd imac, 800 ibook, or 12 inch powerbook... and get firewire, oooo-ahhhh, then i would like to get faster peripherals and retire everything i have right now

a zip 750 would be nice, better printer, better scanner, and an ipod

and definitely, os x would be the way to go...even if i just got the 800 mhz ibook because the mobile g3 chip, the 750fx, has 512k level 2 cache, and that should be enough for me

Yeah, I don't use my Zip 250 either. Remember that guy that RAIDed his floppies. We should let our Zips combine! I should go to bed now.

    Let's see here...

    -QPS 16x10x40 CDR
    -Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speakers
    -Handspring Visor Edge
    -HP PSC 2210 Printer
    -Sony DSC P5 DigiCam
-Logitech Cordless Elite Duo Mouse & Keyboard
-OWC Mercury Elite 120 GB FireWire HD

I couldn't be happier with my setup, unless of course I was running all of that off a new PowerBook instead of my aging (though beloved) Cube. :)
