I live down here is Southern Cali. Dana Point. I just read a store about gas prices across the nation and I was just wondering what everyone is paying where they live. Right now they are saying AZ is the highest at $2.02. Even though for the last 2 weeks the cheapest i seen it in this area is 2.19 to 2.69 for the cheap stuff (87) forget the 91 or 93 if you are in the Midwest.

Oh to all those people overseas yes I know you pay a hell of a lot more then we do and I am sorry but this is America we don't put up with that crap. We go find someone that has it. (Put your thought here on how we get it) :)

2.08 for the low end crap out here where it's cheap, some of the gas station went up to 4.xx in the past couple weeks.

Gas can be anywhere from .20-.30 higher as you move into the heart of the valley.

Gas is flowing again through a diversion around the break...

What is this price? USD per gallon? Prices for standard unleaded in the UK are around 75p per litre. This is £3.42 per gallon (UK: are US gallons the say?). This is $5.39 per gallon.

Now whilst this is very expensive it may be one of the reasons that the UK is at least getting close to reducing it's emissions towards agreed levels. The US is one of the worst offenders in terms of pollution per person. Perhaps a rise in fuel prices would encourage you guys to walk/use public transport/cycle places?

I thought that those prices were ridiculously high compared to what we have over here, but then realised you are probably talking about gallons, not litres, right?

Gas pipeline broke August 8, they used the avgas line to create a patch around the bad section.

Still needs repair, but something is flowing since Sunday.

    More pics and newcasts here...

Remember the fuel strike a few years ago, man that was crazy.... and so obviously not going to work...

London isn't actually that bad, cheaper than my home town of Coventry and way cheaper than some garages in Yorkshire...

I remember hiring out a Laguna V6 in the middle of the fuel shortage, I called into an Esso garage on the way to Camden (hire co's never leaving any decent amount of fuel in the car) so I needed to fill up pronto, and the only stuff they had was the ultra-hyper-super-expensive-race-car-octane-type-unleaded, and it cost me £80 (USD $120) to fill the thing to the brim...

That said, it helped me cover London to Yorkshire in nicely under 2 hours... heh-heh!!

It is $1.69 a gallon here in central Minnesota for the cheap (87 octane) stuff. I'm lucky though since I have a company car and they pay for all of my gasoline.

I want to find this gas station! I have driven all around Dallas yesterday trying to find the cheapest 93 octane, until I almost ran out, and this was the cheapest by NW Highway@Skillman: 89 oct - $1.59, 93 oct - $1.79 per gallon.

A month or so ago I was paying $1.39 a gallon at a Sheetz gas station. Same place, same gas, this weekend I paid $1.69. Sunday I rode my bike rather than drive.

It seems so far where I am is one of the lower prices...still damned expensive though for this area.

I normally pay around $1.48-$1.50 per gallon for 93 octane...87 usually runs around $1.19-$1.25 I believe?

Oh yeah, that was great! I still remember the massive queues @ petrol stations when a tanker came in. Gladly I wasn't driving at the time, but I know it caused my mum and dad agro
