What's the difference between the 675 and 680 graphics cards in the 27" iMacs?

    Is the 675 still powerful? How MUCH more powerful is the 680?

    680MX is a lot more powerful.

    So how capable is the 675mx for the long run?

    Alot less than the 680mx if games are all that matters.

    Preliminary benchmarks suggest the difference may be marginal although I have a hard time believing that. This is pulled from an earlier thread.

    Score: 3326 points (FPS: 55)

    Thats perhaps a Benchmark in Mac os. The difference is much bigger between These cards...

    I guess a question for you would be: Do you play video games? I'm using mine as my primary home computer, and I don't play games... I'm fairly confident that will not change. I ended up going with the 675 and so far I'm very happy with it.

    So... It all depends on what you're going to do with your computer.
