ZipZoomFly has the Hitachi for $179 shipped but are on back order HERE

MacSales has both the HITACHI and the SEAGATE but it's almost $300 for each of them.

I see neither on ebay at the moment.

Anyone know of a place to get one currently for closer to $200 ??

(also any advice on which one, the seagate or hitachi, would be better quality?)

I generally prefer Seagate drives and their 5-year warranty over Hitachi and their 3-year warranty. The Seagate is just now starting to show up in stores, so availability is tough for now. There was a big run on the Hitachi when they were first released, so supply seems to be low fort them now. ZipZoomFly is by far the best deal I've seen on them, so you may want to place an order or just wait it out for a bit until vendors get a steady supply of them and prices start to drop.
