Hey everyone.

Doing some research, I find different statements where versions are kept. Some say they are saved inside the own file, while others say they are kept on a specific folder of the system.

Check this out:

They show a folder where versions are kept, but then on other reviews they say they are kept within the same file thats been edited.

If they are been kept on a specific folder then its like they are being duplicated.

Which one is true?

Thanks.

It's kept in /DocumentRevisions-V100/ and the files are probably saved using Delta encoding.

It would be extremely stupid for Apple to save full copies of the files or to save the versions inside the file itself.

P.S. If you hold down Command while clicking the files name in the title bar it will give you a option to delete all versions.
