omfgwtfbbq... I have been trying to sell my eMac for months and so far all I have gotten is an offer to trade for some art!!!
I've been advertising on craigslist, recycler, and penny saver...
Guess its time to head up to the big leagues. eBay is the obvious choice but I am wondering just how many people actually successfully sell their computers there. Any other viable options for getting this thing sold?

Thanks, I e-mailed them. I was hoping to get around $500, and think I would fare better with a private party sale. Anybody know of a good place?

I've sold several computers (two Macs, some not) on Ebay without incident.

Yep, eBay is the way to go. I've sold so much stuff there, including a few macs.

eBay is definately worth trying. I sold my emac there a few months ago and got $699 for it. (It included extras;) ) I also have sold a couple other macs on eBay successfully. You will definately get what your hoping for.

Try craiglist first... Since you wont have to pay any fees.

Hahaha, art for an eMac. That cracks me up.
Just out of curiosity, what are the specs on the eMac? You could always try and put posters up around your local campus, or take out an ad in the newspaper. If not then eBay is probably your best bet.

I got my G3 iBook from a pawn shop. Try that as last resort?
