Which is better for video encoding on a 2010 6 core mac pro Visualhub or redux encode

    I have visualhub but I have noticed that redux encoder offers more formats than visualhub.

    So which of them would be better for encoding in terms of speed and quality?

    You could use both or try them at least and it seems, that Redux is based on VisualHub.

    As Redux is newer, it might take advantage of more cores though.

    Depends if you're doing single or batches. If single, I'd use MPEG Streamclip.
