    Hi,

I'm hoping to buy one but it'd be best to check out the screen first I think. I'm going to London in a few days with friends but we might not be able to go to the Regent St store. I live in South West England and have no idea which resellers would stock the Macbook and also have a model I can see. I was hoping Dixons would stock it (I remember the time when the sales assistant handed me a 15 inch Powerbook out of the box, thus with no alarm, and left me to it, right next to the shop exit) but they don't. Anyone know of any places that do? Or, when Dixons/Currys/PC World will sell them?

    Thanks.

London has masses of Apple resellers but they're concentrated around the West End, where all the media companies are. Which part of The Smoke are you visiting?

EDIT : BTW, you may find something closer to home. These people always have Macs demo'ed.

John Lewis don’t seem to have the MacBook in yet (At least not Norwich).

Well, Scotsys have a few demo models in their shop on Gt Western Road. In glasgow. Only a plane away. About £25 if you know where to book. If it's important that is!
