Well, I am getting the Wii for Christmas, because I do not have the money to buy it for myself. My mom is going down to reserve Wii and a game tomorrow at Gamestop. The problem is, I do not know which game to reserve....

    1. Red Steel
    2. Call of Duty 3
    3. Zelda

Now, before everyone says Zelda, it is my least wanted of the three. Yes, I LOVE the Zelda series, but I think I want to play the Wii with a FPS to try out the remote. I'm sure with my money after Christmas I will pick up the other two as well as Super Mario Galaxy and probably Medal of Honor (whenever they're released) So, really, I need some opinions.

I have played COD 1 and 2, and love the WWII games, but maybe they are OVER done, and need a fresh experience with Red Steel? Any ideas?

    I'm preordering

    Excite Truck
Call of Duty 3 (for the Wii)
    Red Steel

And those games will have to last my for a while, as I'm going to buy a 360 come Jan. Most of them seem like they will have good replay.

Red Steel is really looking like a killer game....good graphics, and assuming the control problems we fixed(which according to Ubisoft they only had a short time with the controller before E3, so I'm hope the will have fixes it up nice for launch!

well the only problem with CoD is that (if it is anything like 1 and 2) you can beat it in about a weekend if you hardcore play, or a week if not.

Probably reserving Zelda and Red Steel if our Gamestop doesn't keep saying next week every week.

I'd reserve Zelda. Best. Series. Evar.
I'm torn between the Wii version and the GameCube version though.

I might pick up Zelda, but with the Wii being the 'family' machine in the living room I'd probably wouldn't have much time on it myself. Prime is a certainty - when it's out.

I'd really say Zelda. They keep introducing new stuff about the game. I was super psyched about the Wii and Zelda. Now I'm uber, Super-duper mega psyched about the Wii and Zelda. I mean, 100 hours of gameplay, 2x the text (and presumably 2x the story), tie-ins with the rest of the series (so maybe everything finally makes sense) and to top it off, a world so big you need a horse to get across it (right off the bat from my understanding). I think Zelda + Wii sports will be enough to get me through the end of the year. :)
